Perhaps this is a theme of my deer drawings.. titling them after animals that are not really there! But I am referring to a sort of sendoff here, that's what the star and the candles are for.
I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is just something about your style that I absolutely adore. Your artwork is something I truly get excited about when I see it in my message center. I am at a real loss for words, everything about this is perfect. I love how everything is cold and blue except for the tiny flames on the antlers. The way you spotlighted the star is so perfect and so surreal, it really reflects the mood of the forest right now. All the little snowflakes really completes the image.
This is absolutely beautiful.. there's something so beautiful about your style that I can't get enough of, like Jen said. I love the soft colors, and you got the perspective spot on. The way you did the shadow of the star is perfect. And how it's dark and peaceful, and the only light is the flames from the candles. I can't even describe it. Beautiful job.

This image is absolutely beautiful, not just for the artistry you've put in the image but the message behind it that really completes it. It's reminds me of a silent reminder, beautiful work.
The mood is just right, I can't really say more than what Jen's said.
